Hear first

Who we are

A community, not just a party

We bring together people who live and love a little differently, so they can meet, support each other and express themselves freely in a safe, healthy space.

Non-monogamy is a spectrum. Some of us are all about connection and relationships (that's where Poly Play Parties began). Others are drawn more to physical exploration with one or a few partners. Most are somewhere in between. Monogamous and curious people are welcome too, and we keep ethically non-monogamous people at the heart of what we do.

No judgement

Come as you are. Take part as much or as little as you like.

Consent first

Clear consent, house rules, and hosts you can talk to.

Warmth over stigma

We don't fight prejudice. We show what a kind, healthy community looks like.

Memories and connection

Being human is about the moments we share. We make room for them.

Our story

Why Panacea exists

It started with socials. At weekend get-togethers someone would say "there's a party tonight, come with us?", and before long a whole gang of us went along together. It became a tradition, and some of the best nights we've had.

But we kept hitting the same wall. As a triad, three equal partners, we were turned away from a "couples only" event. One of us was left outside, and the evening was ruined for all three. Friends had similar stories: party rules written around a pair, and people who simply didn't get it.

So we made our own. Panacea is a play party built for the way our community actually loves: groups and polycules welcome, play taken seriously and scenes respected, and nobody left at the door.

Our own rules

Not just "different"

We don't think monogamy is wrong. It's a choice, and so is ours. We choose to shape our relationships around the people in them, ourselves included, rather than rules handed down by history, tradition or religions we don't belong to.

Those old rules weren't always about love. For a long time they were about property and inheritance, and they fell hardest on women. A double standard still lingers: a man with several partners gets admired, a woman gets judged.

We'd rather make our own rules, openly and with everyone's consent, that make sense for us and our loved ones. If that resonates, you'll fit right in.
